Hi, I’m Carmen Calagua, the proud owner of BeYOUtiful Salon and a licensed cosmetology educator with over 23 years of experience in the beauty industry.
My journey began in 2003 as a Nail Technician specializing in nails and waxing only. As my passion for beauty grew in 2011, I reenrolled in beauty school with a bigger vision determined to earn my full cosmetology license and expand my craft on hair coloring and makeup artistry. In 2020, I was honored to receive a scholarship from Robert Fiance Beauty Academy, graduating in 2021 with my New Jersey Cosmetology Teacher license, specializing in makeup and advanced hair coloring.
I believe beauty is not just about how you look, it’s about how you feel. I am deeply committed to continuing education, mastering modern techniques, and selecting high quality professional products to deliver an elevated salon experience.
Every service I provide is intentional. I pour my heart, creativity, and passion into every detail so that you leave not only looking beautiful, but feeling confident, empowered, looking beyoutiful.
